Matt is a NC state licensed guide through the North Caroline Wildlife Resource Commission and we are your source for guided kayak fishing tours along the Outer Banks of North Carolina. We are one of the few NC kayak guide services which specializes in fishing tours. Our kayak fishing guide service fishes the OBX in the sounds behind Nags Head, Oregon Inlet, and Manteo, and sometimes we can fish the ocean if the conditions allow us to. In the sound we catch flounder, red drum, black drum, speckled trout, gray trout, sheepshead, striped bass, bluefish, spot, croaker, and pinfish. If we are given good enough conditions to fish in the ocean we can also catch spanish mackerel, king mackerel, cobia, triggerfish, and spadefish. On our OBX kayak fishing guided trips we also see much of the OBX wildlife in its natural environment such as rays, sharks, dolphins, birds, turtles, and others.
